At Metalumen’s lighting manufacturing facility, Roberts Onsite developed a comprehensive turn-key controls solution for a wash and pre-treatment line of their production process.
Our Automation Controls & Engineering group completed all aspects of the project including the electrical design, programming, panel build, installation and commissioning. We also specified and purchased all of the required sensors.
The program we developed controls all elements of operation within the six wash zones: pumps, burner controls, water and chemical level controls and chemical dosing system. It features closed-loop fluid level and temperature controls as well as recipe management.
The system was designed with remote access allowing us to provide 24-hour emergency response if there are any concerns with how the line is functioning.
