Roberts Onsite completed the electrical requirements of the first phase of a multi-year project to widen and add multi-use trails to a busy street in Kitchener.

Our Utilities crews installed direct-buried rigid PVC conduits in the boulevards and in the road crossing to power the streetlights and for future communications cabling.

We supplied and installed the temporary and permanent traffic signal systems complete with temporary wood poles and necessary supports; and concrete pad foundations for the traffic controller cabinet. Our team completed installation of all of the underground conduit and pole bases for the new traffic signals at the intersection.

New streetlights were addressed by our crews. Direct-buried conduits that we installed will connect the 17 new 12.2-metre concrete poles that we supplied and placed. Each pole will feature LED luminaires with field adjustable adaptive photocontrol sensors that were assembled by our team.
