Roberts Onsite’s Utilities group was awarded the electrical scope of the two-year project to reconstruct a portion of Weber Street North in Waterloo.
Our Utilities crews supplied and installed the direct-buried rigid PVC communications conduit in the boulevards and roadways. We also installed handwells and concrete pole bases to power the traffic signals and street lights within the project area.
Our Utilities team supplied and installed the traffic signal infrastructure for the intersection of King Street and Weber Street including handwells, a concrete pad for the traffic controller cabinet, and concrete pole bases. Installation and removal of a temporary traffic signal system including wooden poles, guy wires, messenger cables was within our scope as well.
