Roberts Onsite was contracted by South Bruce Grey Health Alliance to complete a generator replacement at the Durham Hospital in Durham, ON.
Our electrical and mechanical teams worked together to disconnect and dispose of the existing fuel oil tank, transferring the existing diesel fuel to the Kincardine Hospital as per instructions.
We demolished the existing fuel piping, fuel fill line, vent, and fill motor, and patched the existing wall. Next, we disconnected the existing silencer, exhaust, and motorized damper, and removed the flex connection, silencer supports, and existing exhaust stack. Once the new diesel tank and its accessories were installed, we teste, adjusted, and balanced the system, and provided the initial fill of fuel for the new 3100L tank.
All work was completed on time and to the owner’s satisfaction, and in accordance with infection and prevention control hoarding.
