Com Dev required Roberts Onsite to perform a design build project for all of the electrical requirements for their new building addition. This new addition included a laboratory which manufactured and tested state of the art satellite tracking, which can be used on various modes of transportation.
Working within this laboratory environment, we were required to install anti-static flooring and grounding bars throughout the new addition. We installed a new 27,600 high voltage service complete with yard switching for two 2,500 KVA transformers and a new 2,000 amp/600 volt secondary service switchboard. From the secondary switchboard we supplied power to the various lab services and added 120/208 volt distribution panels for building services. These various panels would provide power to make up air units, A/C units, outlets, fixtures and exhaust fans by means of raceways, wires and terminations. We also supplied all necessary voice and data structured cabling outlets as well as fire alarm and PA upgrades throughout the facility. All work was completed without disruption to Com Dev’s daily operations. We continue to service this plant on a daily basis.
