Roberts Onsite completed the electrical requirements of the two-year reconstruction project of Dundas Street in Cambridge.
Our Utilities crew supplied and installed new underground conduit for traffic system infrastructure and supplied and installed direct-buried ducts for communications cabling and street lighting.
At the intersection of Dundas Street North and Elgin Street North we supplied and installed 9 concrete pole bases for traffic signal poles, the concrete pad for the traffic signal controller cabinet. Type II and Type III handwells for communications and traffic control signal interconnections were supplied and installed by our team as well.
About 1,200 metres of rigid communications ducts were installed running along Dundas Street North from about Main Street to about Elgin Street North for future use.
Running from Elgin Street North to the western limits of the site we installed conduits to allow for future streetlights.
