At Stratford General Hospital, Roberts Onsite added a 3rd fuel oil generator to 2 existing generators in order to meet current industry standards and allow for the future removal of an existing generator.
Our electrical and mechanical teams worked together to supply and install the new generator along with its pump, new silencer, and required piping. They also supplied and installed new silencers and exhaust pipes serving the 2 existing generators, as well as louvers, dampers, actuators, and control equipment.
After the new generator was installed, our mechanical team tested, adjusted, and balanced the generator as per specifications to ensure the equipment was operating properly.
All work was completed in accordance with existing noise mitigation and a compressed schedule due to the ongoing operations of the hospital.
Infection prevention and control hoarding were in place and monitored at all times during this project, and the Roberts Onsite team strictly adhered to the safety and infectious disease protocols in place during the timeline of this project.
