Roberts Onsite was contracted to perform all mechanical and electrical work associated with the new 18 500 sq. ft plant expansion for a local pharmaceutical manufacturer.
The work includes the construction of new GMP clean room processing suites, new GMP corridors, new mechanical rooms, and extending utilities from existing service locations to new locations. The work also includes the supply and installation of new HVAC equipment, new electrical power distribution equipment, and exterior improvements.
Roberts Onsite managed the sheet metal, insulation, balancing, building automation, and purified water subcontractors.
Our mechanical and electrical teams worked together to install all HVAC equipment, above and below grade process piping systems, storm piping, steam and condensate piping complete with all associated equipment, the compressed air system, chemical treatment, vacuum piping, and chilled and hot water glycol systems for the new addition. All tie-in’s to existing systems were completed without impacting current production. All work occurred while implementing and complying with dust and infectious control measures during demolition and construction as required, providing soft and hard hoarding as required for hoarding strategy, and providing daily checks to ensure protective barrier integrity.
All work was completed on time and to the owner’s satisfaction while the rest of the facility remained operational.
